Jova Solutions Expands Team of Industry Pioneers to Create Next Generation Process Control Systems.
SAN FRANCISCO, CA, April 2, 2001
Software developer Jova Solutions today announced that Meg Kay has joined the development team as Director of Process Control Products. Meg has been developing software systems for process control, factory automation, chemical analysis, and general instrumentation since 1982. Meg was a developer of LabVIEW, the National Instruments graphical programming environment for science and technology applications. Meg designed many of the LabVIEW front panel controls, the control editor and type definitions, among other features. LabVIEW, a proven tool of choice for test and measurement applications, is emerging as a viable development environment for e-business applications.
"Meg Kay is highly respected in the LabVIEW community for her rare blend of technical expertise and aesthetic sense", said Martin Vasey CEO and Chief Manufacturing Architect. "She really understands how to simplify complex technical interfaces to appeal to users at all levels. We are thrilled she chose to join our team."
Most recently, Meg was a design consultant for Honeywell. While there, she was a major architect and designer of a process control system for continuous sheet production. This strategic system enables continuous process control, trending (current and historic), data visualization, and data analysis. The system supports localization for use on a global scale.
The Jova Solutions Technical Team includes Andrew Johnson, President and Chief Biotechnology Architect, Martin Vasey, CEO and Chief Manufacturing Architect and Vance Socci, Director of IT Technology Development.
