A PCI-SIG compliant design, even over cable, insures a robust design methodology, easy future migration, and a native, PCI Express peripheral. The ISL-3200 with PCI Express appears to the PC to be a local PCI Express device.

Optional, Embedded VOM

Do you need to perform more thorough electrical tests on your imaging device, such as Short/Open testing? The ISL-3200 has provisions for an optional, embedded Volt-Ohm Meter (VOM). This embedded VOM option adds analog boundary scan capability with a HI_BUS and LO_BUS and programmable connections through a 2 by 80 matrix of analog switches to the sensor signals and the embedded measurement instruments.
